Coupla Videos

First up, we've got this video, which I'm apparently not to Embed, so just go to this link right here. It is something that I could easily classify as "all kinds of awesome." Like many people my age, Whose Line Is It Anyway? was a regular education in comedy. Now, someone named 12 Medbe has put together a compilation of half an hour of the best game that Whose Line ever did.

Now, the video itself is often hilarious, although there are some dubious inclusions here, such as the grand finale being Whoopi Goldberg's unhilarious guest spot. But, if you've got the time, patience, and inclination, there is some really golden stuff in here. And, if you're anything like me, you'll get a new appreciation for some of the more adult humour that flew over my 13-year old head.

The next one, my favourite Internet video of the day, is of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (of Shaun Of The Dead fame and Hot Fuzz sort of fame) re-enacting a scene from Star Wars: A New Hope. What better way to promote your upcoming film than releasing an online video that lets people know that you're awesome?

Enjoy.

And this is what happens when people have a lot of time on their hands. Here is a collection of all of the Gif's you need to know. Actually, about 60% of these are from The View or America's Next Top Model, but they're still a hoot. Nothing beats James Van Der Beek crying .gif [Jezebel]

Because if there's one celebrity you don't see enough on the Internet, it's Kanye West, here's a look at his new album cover, as well as his reaction to its being banned in the U.S.[Celebitchy]

And here's a trailer for Jennifer Lynch's new film, Hisss. Does anyone else think that the snake people here look like Machida from that frat-party episode of Buffy? [Pajiba]

And another trailer. This one for a Norwegian movie about troll hunters. I can't even tell you how excited this trailer makes me. [Pajiba]

In case you haven't heard, Bill Murray showed up to Spike's Scream Awards in full Ghostbusters get-up. Check it out here. [Topless Robot]

Here's an interesting list of movies that aren't scary because they're scary, they're scary because of their all-too-real subject matter. Except for the joke ending, I'm quite intrigued to see what some of the ones I've never heard about are all about. [UGO]

In keeping with the sort-of-Halloweeny theme, here are the 9 lamest ghosts in cinematic history, according to [Screen Junkies]

Apparently a children's book was released that reveals the story for the new Transformers movie. While I may not have the same hatred for Michael Bay as many other movie bloggers, the leaked US vs. Russia plot seems a little dated. [Topless Robot]

I'm not as all up into that Halo stuff as I should be, but even I can appreciate how stupendous most of these Halo: Reach kills are. [Unreality]

I had never heard of Sharron Angle before this, but now I have, and I hate her. [Angry Black Lady Chronicles]

And that's all I've got. Enjoy your Wednesday.

There's actually not much of a point to sending you to this other site, as it's not going to tell you anything other than that Tom frickin' Hardy is officially signed on for the next Batman movie. But, I've always been taught to cite my sources, so here goes. [FilmDrunk]

I'm not often one for churning the rumour mill, however, when it comes to Batman, I'm willing to make an exception. I bet even Christian Bale doesn't know who the next villain will be, but that doesn't stop all the speculation. The latest hinted guess: Killer Croc. [Gamma Squad]

Here are 25 ridiculous warning labels. The best part about these is imagining the dumbass who sued, forcing these companies to put said warnings. [Manofest]

Just 'cause Star Wars is cool to talk about, here are some behind the scene shots from The Empire Strikes Back. [Unreality]

What to Wes Anderson and Stella Artois have in common? For one thing, they're both experiences I have too little experience with. For another: this commercial. [Warming Glow]

Here is a pretty fun quiz about video game music. I will admit, I only got 7/90 right, but out of the ones I missed, I've only played 7, so I don't feel so bad. [Sporcle]

And that's about it. There are a lot of other things floating around the Interwebs today, but I've weeded out the lame stuff. Oh, there's also this not-as-good-as-some-of-the-others-but-still-pretty-good webisode of Between Two Ferns. If you don't know what I'm talking about, find out what I'm talking about. Start here.

I've heard that the best way to whore your site out to get hits is to link to other, better sites. So, when the mood strikes, and I've got some extra time, I figure there's no harm in me letting you know about some cool stuff that's out there on the Interwebs.

You may not have the patience to go through all 128 images, but if you're into this sort of thing, here is a gallery of the best and worst Cosplay from New York Comic Con. [UGO]

Here's a semi-funny video of some terrible parenting, accompanied by the most non-sensical, caption. [Manofest]

This gallery essentially answers the question of what would happen if Tim Burton directed Pokémon [Unreality]

And in case you missed it (like I did, since I haven't watched a new Simpsons episode since I don't know when), here's the Banksy-crafted couch gag that has everyone talking [Gizmodo]

That's all I've got. I'm not going to go out of my way to find these things, I'll just share them when I come across them. And with that, I leave you with this Sesame Street spoof of the Old Spice commercial.
