What's Your Name isn't funny, it's silly. Nearly all of these tracks are character pieces, where Sandler takes on a personality (fat guy, guy with zit, petulant child) and rhymes off the circumstances of that person. Sometimes it's moderately clever, with rhymes serving as punchlines, but other times it's just poo jokes, with poo serving as the punchline ("Dancin' And Pantsin'").

My favourite track is "The Goat Song," which chronicles the story of a talking goat who is taken from the mountains of Europe onto a farm in America. It's got the same inherent dumbness as the rest of the album, but Sandler goes for broke with it, throwing in as much absurdity as he can.

For years, my brother has had "All Of Adam Sandler's CDs" on his Christmas wishlist. So, brother, anytime you want to come get it, I'll be glad to have it off my shelf and I hope you are able to like it more than I did.
