Being a fan of wrestling in the late 90's and early 2000's, I was aware of Hulk Hogan without actually being a fan. I knew that he was respected, and so, by proxy, I respected him, too. Even without any real context for why I should, I remember it blowing my mind when I saw this:

Despite likely never having seen a Hogan match before, The Rock's performance made it clear exactly what these classic moments meant.
