And here we are, ladies and gentlemen, the very last day of The Rock-tober 2010, a celebration of a man, a legend, who is so good that he can even make Creed sound good.
History had been made, indeed.

The Rock-tober 30th, 2010
Say what you will about Limp Bizkit, but I cannot think of any better promotional material than the "My Way" stuff that the WWF put out leading up to Wrestlemania X-Seven. Once again, The Rock and Steve Austin would face off in a classic match for the ages.

The Rock-tober 29th, 2010
And here we are, the last three days of The Rock-tober. And, what a more fitting way to top off the celebration of all things The Rock than with what is probably the biggest feud in wrestling history. Three times "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock faced off at Wrestlemania. Today, tomorrow, and the next day, we will look at each of these inconceivably classic matches.

The Rock-tober 28th, 2010
But, before any of yesterday's happenings, there was this match, one of the most talked about in WWF history. The story of this match has been more about the backstage happenings, but even without the drama between Mick and The Rock, this is still one of the most memorable things that the WWF ever produced.

The Rock-tober 27th, 2010
Sometimes friends, sometimes foes, The Rock and Mankind had undeniable chemistry. In these two matches, happening just one day apart, The Rock and Mankind battled back and forth for months over the WWF Championship.

The Rock-tober 26th, 2010
As we've seen, The Rock and Chris Jericho know how to talk. Over and over the two have had some of the most entertaining interviews ever. Now, this is what happens when the two get into the ring.

The Rock-tober 25th, 2010
Effectively culminating their feud, Triple H and The Rock decided to put everything on the line in an Iron Man match at Judgment Day 2000. As with every other encounter they had, the match is littered with appearances from others, and, while the ending may have been overshadowed by the return of a certain superstar, the Iron Man match isn't one that I'll ever forget.

The Rock-tober 24th, 2010
In their long-standing feud, Triple H and The Rock had many many matches, many of them classics. This one, from Backlash 2000 is another example of how good these two could be. And like the video before, and the one tomorrow, the constant presence of run-ins still leaves the question unanswered as to who would win. Except for the fact that it's clearly The Rock.

The Rock-tober 23rd, 2010
For years, putting The Rock and Triple H in the same ring, you were guaranteed something entertaining. That guarantee began at Summerslam 1998, when Triple H challenged The Rock for his Intercontinental Title in a ladder match.
Yes, every one in awhile, The Rock did lose, but when he did, he did it looking good.

The Rock-tober 22nd, 2010
Yesterday, we looked at a brilliant match between Kurt Angle and The Rock. So what happens when we add a third, even more combustible element? That's what happened at Vengeance 2002.

The Rock-tober 21st, 2010
The rest of the month will be dedicated to some of the best of The Rock's matches. We already saw a classic feud and battle between The Rock and Hogan back on The Rock-tober 3rd. Now we'll take a look at some other brilliant feuds and the great matches they spawned.
First up is The Rock and Kurt Angle, two incompatible forces brought in opposition over the glory of the WWF Championship.

The Rock-tober 20th, 2010
Sometimes, all it takes is a few seconds to make a classic moment. In this case, one of the only times in recorded history, someone got the better of The Rock. And when they did, The Rock knew just how to respond.

The Rock-tober 19th, 2010
Here's yet another classic promo courtesy of The Rock. There was a period of time, between being The People's Champion and his heel turn where The Rock was pushing the envelope a little further than we were used to. Apparently Brock Lesnar brought out some of the most intensity The Rock ever gave.

The Rock-tober 18th, 2010
The original caption I had for this video didn't make any sense. I think I ended up changing my mind about which video I would post, so now I've changed it and added these last two sentences. Regardless, enjoy what happens when Finally, The Rock [comes] back to Tor-on-to!

And here they are, all of the videos that I could find of The Rock and The Hurricane.
Happy Birthday, Zach.

The Rock-tober 16th, 2010
Part of me wishes that The Rock-tober could happen every day of the year. Then I realize it does. But, the reason that I mention it is because I would love to post this video on July 1st: Canada Day. In this clip, The Rock shows that even when he's playing the heel, the bad guy, the consummate douche, there is no one more entertaining.

The Rock-tober 15th, 2010
I don't even know how to introduce this. About a year after their world-changing battle at Wrestlemania X8, The Rock and Hulk Hogan mixed it up again. This time, The Rock was the villain, selling out to Hollywood, with Hulk Hogan acting the valiant wrestling hero, fighting for all things steroidy and carnivalesque. Unfortunately, The Rock is just too damned good and in this video he makes Hogan and wrestling look like something that he scraped off of his boot.

The Rock-tober 13th, 2010
Among The Rock's most memorable feuds were those with the interview team. Whether it was forcing Kevin Kelly (who The Rock called a hermaphrodite) to pick his nose or the constant abuse of Jonathan Coachman, The Rock always made picking on those who could not defend themselves seem like a perfectly reasonable way to spend an evening.

The Rock-tober 11th, 2010
In the 80's, there were many attempts to milk the WWF cash cow for all it was worth. Among them were albums with music performed by the wrestlers. These awful records made the mistake of being made about two decades too early. Several years later, The Rock would successfully begin to combine music with promos.
Then, in 2001, The Rock would release his own song, entitled "Pie," and it goes a little something like this.
